Why Give

Transport Stretcher

Location – Ambulatory Care

At Eagle Ridge Hospital’s ambulatory care and day surgery unit, we employ transport stretchers to transport sedated patients to and from the operating room. On the completion of the procedure, patients are wheeled into a recovery room where they are observed for a period before released to go home. During this time, the patient will remain on the transport stretcher waiting for the effects of the sedation to wear off prior to getting a green light to be released.

These stretchers are worked hard during an effective service life of seven years and ambulatory care currently requires two new stretchers.

Cost 2 x $9,000 each, totalling $18,000

We love the fact that we see so many people in the community at all of the foundations events. I cannot think of a better local charity to support. You can count on us for many more years!
