The Stryker System 6 is a set of six cordless portable drills and saws used by the orthopaedic surgeons at Eagle Ridge to perform operations like knee replacements. Notice the apparent similarity of the drill to the cordless power tool found in most home workshops except these are very different – in their quality, durability and purpose. The Stryker system consists of surgical instruments that are finely machined to exacting tolerances. They demonstrate exceptional speed, power, versatility and performance and they allow the surgeon freedom of movement, unconfined by having the tool attached to a power cord.
Among the Stryker System 6 set of tools are heavy-duty saws and drills.
The Sagittal Saw has two-speed control, which allows for a wide range of cutting options.
The Reciprocating Saw is small and has better ergonomics.
The Sternum Saw has increased cutting speed for a more aggressive cut.
The Rotary Hand pieces allow for both high-speed drilling and high-torque reaming.
Because they are portable, they are battery driven and the set includes a recharging station that is capable of recharging four batteries at a time.
