Why Give

Medication Cart

Location – Surgical Acute Care

Hospital medication carts assist us to provide quality health care by allowing precise and timely administration of medication. By having proper medication carts, nurses have a tool needed for optimum efficiency, safety and productivity. Medication carts are the secure and reliable transport of patient medicine, dressings, and related accessories. The carts require entry codes to secure the access to medications; and have automatic locking after medication has been dispensed.
At Eagle Ridge, the carts are transferred to the hospital pharmacy where prescriptions get filled.  Each patient has an assigned lockable drawer in the cart into which a pharmacist dispenses the prescribed medications.  The cart is returned to the ward where the nursing staff delivers medications to bedside with maximum control and safety.  Medication carts are an integral component in maintaining high standards of medical care to be sure every patient gets the intended medication and no others.

Cost 5 @ $6,500 each, total $32,500

I was given a second chance at life and now here's my chance to give something back to Eagle Ridge for giving me the hope and inspiration to live and be well. I gained the courage to come back -- all the way back. Eagle Ridge gives hope and healing. Eagle Ridge believes that miracles are possible.
