We’ve always been an active family and, from time to time, have found ourselves at ERH. From broken arms to sick children in the middle of the night, we have always been grateful to have such a terrific facility so close to home. It really is our neighbourhood hospital. I am honoured to serve ERH and will continue to do my part–as long as my part is needed. |

As a third generation TriCity resident community is important to me. Many times my husband and I have been grateful to have Eagle Ridge Hospital in such close proximity while raising our family and I am proud to do my part to preserve and improve this wonderful facility. |
|
Eagle Ridge Hospital has been providing my family and me first rate emergency and health care services since it opened. We support the Hospital Foundation as it assists in providing the equipment and training for our Healthcare professionals on a daily basis. |

Eagle Ridge Hospital is my community hospital. It’s very friendly and the people here really care. I am proud I can help broaden the support for ERH in our community. |

Joining the Eagle Ridge Hospital has been an eye opener for me. The friendly, high quality of care we strive to deliver to our community is matched by the many ways our community has shown its commitment to the hospital. I am very proud to serve as an ex-officio member of the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation Board and to help support its wonderful work. |

Being involved with ERH Foundation allows me to help raise Health Care Funds that actually stay in our community. I believe that allowing people to receive quality health care in their own community is better for not only the community but the environment as well. I am proud to be involved with such a worthwhile organization. |

Lucia Holmgren Sixteen years ago, my friends on the Auxiliary needed someone to help keep the books. Being an ex-banker, dealing with money was easy, so it was a great fit. Since then I’ve learned how committed this community is to ERH and how ERH relies on our support and I’ve never looked back. |

Sheila Francis Any community is defined by its services – healthcare is the critical one. It is vital that we maintain the friendly, professional community atmosphere of Eagle Ridge while growing to become the full-service facility our growing Tri-Cities needs. We can all work and lobby to this end. |

While studying leadership as part of my Masters thesis, I had the opportunity of shadowing Carol Klassen, the administrator who hired the first staff at ERH. Her patient-centred focus, her team approach, and ability to convey values through storytelling have created a sense of trust and family among all our staff. We work hard to keep that legacy alive because she created a caring and respectful atmosphere focused on the well-being of those we serve. I am honoured to be a part of such a great team! |

When I was growing up in the Tri-Cities, we did not have local hospital services. As a parent and active community member, I believe in the importance of having Eagle Ridge Hospital for the region. I joined the Board to assist the Foundation in making a difference in the lives of the people who now call the Tri-Cities their home. |

Eagle Ridge is a unique hospital. It’s a good size multifunctional hospital, but at the same time small enough that I can identify with people on a personal basis. I will see the same faces when I’m walking down the hall or in the elevator and can exchange pleasantries and feel connected. So I am able to give something back to a facility that does tremendous work at a size where I can be personally connected. |

Through personal experience I can attest to the quality of care provided at ERH, which is one of the reasons I became involved in fundraising on the Evening of Caring Committee. Our Community Hospital is truly a first class facility with strong ties to the community at large. |

Every community needs to have a local hospital. My son had one of his fingers almost ripped off. The OR team repaired it entirely and now, you wouldn’t know anything ever happened to it. We are blessed to have ERH so close to us. I am proud to raise money to keep my local hospital well equipped for other patients. |
