Wheel to Heal 40K gets a thumbs up!
Glenn Pollock, PoCo City Councillor did the Wheel to Heal Ride on Wednesday, a few days in advance of ride day, which is Sunday, August 23rd.
He was away the weekend of the ride but wanted to show his support!
After 40km of biking in 1.5 hours, Glenn came back with a big grin on his face. "What a beautiful ride AND it’s for a great cause," he said. "With cutbacks, the hospital needs all the help it can get. I’m glad to support the ride and look forward to being there in person next year!"

Councillor Glenn Polluck is about to ride 40K in support of Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation. From the thumbs up you can see he is raring to go!
Glenn gets his final instruction from Wheel to Heal Event Planner – Rachel Johns – before he takes off onto the 40K mapped route.
And he’s off! It’s 10:05 am and Glenn says he’ll be back in 2 hours…
Glenn makes it back at a record time of 11:40! Way to go Councillor!
As a thank-you parting gift, the Foundation tem presents him with a participant t-shirt (…and now he’s got two!)
